Location
All training takes place at Harlyn bay near padstow on the North Cornish Coast. This is a safe sheltered beach providing the best training environment. The beach is lifeguard patrolled from May until the end of September.

Accommodation
A full board residential option is available run in conjunction with Treyarnon bay Youth Hostel five minutes from the training location. The hostel can cater for groups of up to 60 people. Accommodation is available from £12pp, full board and camping options are available. It is essential to book your accommodation in advance as the hostel is very popular especially with schools with many booking 12 months ahead. Why not extend your stay to 4 to 5 days and include other activities such as:
Da1 1 - Surf Safety
Day 2 - Visit the Eden project
Day 3 - Cycle on the Camel Trail (one of the top 3 UK cycle trails)
Day 4 - Coastal walk/field trip, or more surfing.

Insurances and licences
Saltwater Training is recognised as the official commercial training centre for the Surf Life Saving Association of GB. We are also a member of The North Cornwall District Council's water activity accreditation scheme. insurance details, risk assessments and accreditation certificates are available on request.
